Item 8.01 Other Events
On March 20, 2025, Security Federal Corporation (“Company”) announced that the Company’s Board of Directors declared a special cash dividend of $0.10 per share. Shareholders of the Company’s common stock at the close of business on March 31, 2025 will be entitled to receive the cash dividend. The cash dividend will be payable on April 15, 2025. The press release announcing the special cash dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
