Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 22, 2025, Tivic Health Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that, on April 17, 2025, the Company provided an educational briefing to senior leadership at the White House and also met with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration to discuss the Company’s Toll like receptor 5 (“TLR5”) drug candidate, Entolimod, to treat acute radiation syndrome; Entolasta, a second generation TLR5 agonist; and the Company’s non-invasive cervical vagus nerve stimulation technology. The meetings included discussions regarding, amongst other things, the need for advanced treatments for acute radiation syndrome in the United States and allied countries, potential improvements in treating radiation damage via the TLR5 pathway, and the potential for expedited pathways and support for the Company’s biologic and bioelectronic product candidates. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K (this “Current Report”) and is incorporated herein by reference.
