Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 16, 2025, iSpecimen Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it has secured suppliers for the flu-like human metapneumovirus (hMPV), positioning itself to address potential specimen demand for studying the disease and developing a vaccine amid growing concerns of a COVID-style pandemic. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
